AUDIO PRODUCER

Sue Zizza is a transmedia producer, director, writer, and sound designer. Sue is the owner of both SueMedia Productions, a full-service audio production company, and also Radio Waves Studios, a premiere audio facility capturing and producing sound for all media: Audiobooks, TV, Film, VR. Sue has produced award winning audio fiction for public radio, audiobooks, and podcasts for more than 3 decades.  Her work has been honored by The Audies (9 nominations, two wins); The Gabriel’s; The International Festival of New York; The National Federation of Community Broadcasters; and the Communicator Awards. 

In 2021 Sue received the Norman Corwin Award for Excellence in Audio Theater for her many achievements in producing audio fiction. Sue’s sound clients have also included: Cleo TV, PBS, Audible, Blackstone, Macmillan Audio, and USA Networks Syfy-Channel. From 1996 -2008 she served as the Executive Director of the National Audio Theatre Festivals (NATF) – an audio arts training organization.
